ABOUT THE NICHOLAS FOUNDATION
The Nicholas Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1998 by Dr. Henry T. Nicholas, III, co-founder of Broadcom Corp., and his wife, Stacey Nicholas. Our mission is to improve the quality of life by providing grants to non-profit organizations in education, the performing arts, humanities and science. Based in Aliso Viejo, California, the Foundation supports initiatives that demonstrate measurable results and practical applications to improve lives, particularly for the underprivileged. As part of our commitment to education technology and innovation, we have introduced a process for evaluating and tracking technology projects. This process currently is being developed in partnership with St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano, California.

The Nicholas Foundation supports and develops education technology programs that measurably improve learning for pre-K-through-12thgrade students. Shareology.org, a Nicholas Foundation initiative, is a new, free community website where educators can find and communicate with each other about the latest in education innovation. Shareology.org provides an unbiased environment in which projects, technologies and products can be evaluated, feedback aired and ideas and impressions shared. Our goal is to create a robust and evergrowing community in which best practices can be tested and replicated on a large scale.
